Local e-Learning Company Doing its Part During Covid-19 Crisis by Providing Online Reading Intervention Programs to Schools for FREE until August 31, 2020 Tech Garden member, Sound Reading Solutions, is an online reading intervention program focused on building underlying speech, language and listening skills. The company teaches skills that prevent many students from becoming fluent readers such as auditory processing, phonemic awareness, and phonics. Sound Reading allows students to continue learning to read while working from home.

Sound Reading Solutions builds foundational reading skills for emerging readers and struggling readers. Its programs align with the National Reading Panel recommendations and conforms to common core standards. Students typically improve reading scores by two grades levels within two to three months. Sound Reading Solutions also has programs focused on English language Learners (ELL). The company provides these students the tools needed to learn and decode the English language to become proficient readers. Sound Reading Solutions supports school districts across the US and Mexico, including NYC, Chicago and Atlanta. Sound Reading Solutions has been a member of The Tech Garden since 2015 and gained funding through Grants for Growth.
