 Clonan Leaves Strong Foundation of Programs to Support Entrepreneurs
The Tech Garden has new leadership after Rick Clonan, CenterState CEO vice president of innovation and entrepreneurship, recently stepped down from his role with the organization to pursue his own startup venture. Members of the portfolio staff will jointly lead operations and programing of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship portfolio: Caitlin Moriarty, Tech Garden director of operations; Jeannine Rogers, Tech Garden director of programs; Kara Jones, Tech Garden director of communications; and Jeff Fuchsberg, director of GENIUS NY. Upstate Capital & Partners Announce Venture NY Series A Showcase, First Partnership of Its Kind12/1/2020
 On December 9 online, for the first time, the Upstate Capital Association of New York is hosting the Venture NY Series A Showcase in partnership with 43North, GENIUS NY, 76West, Grow-NY and Luminate. Featuring some of the fastest-growing startups from across New York, this event includes investor pitches and opportunities for group and 1-1 networking. Venture NY is taking place in conjunction with Upstate Capital’s Annual Awards Celebration highlighting Upstate NY’s most exciting PE + M&A activity, and Venture + Growth investments, in 2020.
