Member News: Mentis Technologies, LLC, a cybersecurity startup company, recently announced that they were selected as the recipient of a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contract. This is Mentis Technologies’ second SBIR award to develop innovative cybersecurity solutions for the nation’s Air Force. This phase of the SBIR includes conducting a feasibility study to determine the effectiveness of potential or existing commercial or defense solution(s) to protect Cyber Physical Systems (CPS).
Member News: Iterate Labs has been participating in New York City's Entrepreneur's Roundtable Accelerator (ERA) since the beginning of the year. Iterate Labs is an IOT company for workplace safety. The company’s smart glove and software platform collects and analyzes biomechanics data to alert workers and managers of injury risk and fatigue. Their algorithms and AI bring data-driven solutions to outdated, insufficient industrial safety practices.
Member News: Lake Effect Applications, a Syracuse, NY based company, launched its newest mobile game this week, Trigger Fist: Global Operations Assault Team (G.O.A.T). Lake Effect’s first game, StickBo, reached number one on the app store in 2010. The follow up, Trigger Fist, which has over 23 million downloads to date, changed people’s minds on what was possible on mobile devices in 2012. Today, with the proliferation of traditional PC and console style games such as Fortnite and PUBG entering the mobile space, Trigger Fist G.O.A.T. demonstrates Lake Effect’s ability to craft a game that is appropriate for mobile devices while still delivering what gamers want.
