Close to 325,000 Bags Already Donated to Local Schools and Community Centers
Eco-Baggeez, LLC is an earth friendly alternative to plastic sandwich bags and made 100% in the USA; in Oneida to be exact. The startup began production in June of 2019 and started seeing success right away. Unfortunately, as COVID-19 hit, the company’s business plan and goals for 2020 went out the window. Eco-Baggeez had to figure out how to redirect focus while maintaining the core values of the company, and fast. On Thursday, April 30 from noon to 1 p.m. Syracuse University's Blackstone LaunchPad and partners will host a virtual campus-community innovation town hall. In attendance will be Randy Wolken, CEO of the Manufacturers Association of Central New York; Kathi Durdon, executive director of the CNY Biotech Accelerator/Upstate Medical University; Win Thurlow, executive director of The MedTech Association; and Rick Clonan, VP of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at CenterState CEO's Tech Garden.
