CenterState CEO Recognizes Nearly 300 Economic Champions

Today, CenterState CEO's Economic Champions event recognized nearly 300 local companies for driving the region’s economy forward through job creation, business expansions, investments in operations and more. The event also recognized the companies and people contributing to Central New York’s resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic, in particular, those champions that have adapted, grown, innovated and persevered in the wake of this year’s profound challenges. ​

CenterState CEO’s Community Visionary Award, sponsored by Wegmans Food and Pharmacy, was presented to the Allyn Family Foundation for embodying a vision of economic opportunity, and for its work to create a significant positive impact on community prosperity.​

Event Stats - 295 companies were recognized for hiring more than 2,400 employees, adding 5.6 million square-feet of expansions, and $752 million in capital investments
