The Clean Tech Center is Funded by NYSERDA
Clean energy can power New York while protecting the environment. The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, known as NYSERDA, promotes energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources. These efforts are key to developing a less polluting and more reliable and affordable energy system for all New Yorkers. Collectively, NYSERDA’s efforts aim to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, accelerate economic growth, and reduce customer energy bills. |

What is the Goal of The Clean Tech Center?
The ultimate goal of the Clean Tech Center is to support our client companies by providing the training, resources, and expertise needed to get them ready for investment, cash flow positive, and successfully commercializing their emerging clean energy technologies. And How Do You Do That? Utilizing a newly developed business model planning process, Clean Tech Center staff will work with each Clean Tech Center company to identify and analyze strengths and weaknesses, which will be used as a road map for staff to align programs, resources, and networking events with the needs of each emerging company. The Program Manager will provide 1-on-1 coaching, assisting clients with navigating through relevant entrepreneurial programmatic elements. The Resource Manager will connect companies with mentors, advisors, coaches, investors, specialists, and Resource Pool service-providers. The Events Manager will keep clients connected and informed through the myriad entrepreneurial ecosystem and clean tech events held both regionally and across the state. We hope the success of The Clean Tech Center continues to build an innovation ecosystem that fortifies the clean technology vertical in the Central New York region and stimulates the incubation of early-stage growth of new firms across a broad spectrum of clean technologies and the acceleration of existing firms; particularly through the introduction of new value-added enterprises related to clean technology or expansion into new markets. What are the Objectives of The Clean Tech Center?
