Jeff Fuchsberg and Mia Tomasello to provide support to CenterState CEO’s innovation portfolio
CenterState CEO has hired two new employees for its Innovation and Entrepreneurship portfolio: Jeff Fuchsberg and Mia Tomasello.
Jeff Fuchsberg is entrepreneur in residence (EIR) for CenterState CEO’s innovation and entrepreneurship portfolio at The Tech Garden. In his new role, Fuchsberg will support and manage the business incubator and accelerator’s members by providing resources, entrepreneurial consulting and intervention services. Fuchsberg most recently served as senior director of Innovation Projects at the Medical Center of the Americas Foundation in El Paso, Texas. In that role, he managed incubator operations, delivered programs to support innovation and entrepreneurship and supported ecosystem development. He previously served as intellectual property manager at Blue Highway in Syracuse, a spinout of Welch Allyn, focused largely on product development through sponsored university research and licensing. Fuchsberg holds a bachelor’s degree in entomology, magna cum laude with distinction in research, from Cornell University, and a Juris doctorate from Syracuse University College of Law, summa cum laude, with an advanced certificate in technology commercialization law from the New York State Science & Technology Law Center. He is also certified as a business incubator manager by the International Business Innovation Association.
Mia Tomasello is the events administrator for CenterState CEO’s innovation and entrepreneurship portfolio at The Tech Garden. In her new role, Mia will assist in event creation and planning for Tech Garden members and the community. She previously served as communications coordinator for the startup, Vessel, a reusable cup system for cafes and their customers, in Boulder, Colorado. Mia holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies and communications from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
