The Tech Garden facility consists of over 51,000 square feet of space dedicated to supporting the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Central New York. Once a collapsed parking garage, the space was transformed into a modern, flexible, and inspiring working space for entrepreneurs. For over a decade, there has been no other place like it in our region for people to collaborate, connect, and work. The Tech Garden is the epicenter of the Central New York entrepreneurial ecosystem.
In addition to attractive spaces, our resident members receive front desk reception support, copy, scan, fax, mailbox service, package receipt and high speed internet. We provide regularly scheduled activities for education, connecting, and deliberate entrepreneurial collisions in our space. Our events, programs, and resources are central to all that we do for our members.
What's Inside The Tech Garden?
With 51,000+ square feet in two buildings anchoring Syracuse’s Tech Corridor, The Tech Garden provides a variety of flexible space options. For solo entrepreneurs or small teams just starting out, we can offer shared office space via our Clean Tech Center and virtual member programs. As companies grow, we provide mid-sized and large private offices and suites. When a company is ready to transplant, we help with favorable leases in desirable buildings along the Tech Corridor. Tech Corridor companies retain access to our core programs, services, and benefits. We can also serve as a facility concierge to find more specialized sites throughout the region.
Although residents appreciate The Tech Garden’s collaborative environment, sometimes they need a private meeting space. The Tech Garden provides two fully equipped conference rooms that make hosting informal team meetings or formal sales/customer presentations easy and comfortable. We also offer our 60-seat Fibertech Networks Theater, a spacious auditorium with projection and video conferencing capabilities.
Our residents enjoy access to a variety of common areas throughout TTG. We provide a community kitchen (everything that’s in your kitchen except for a stove) and a dining area with vending machines and Café Kubal coffee. We’re currently working on a new recreational lounge with video consoles, cable/OTT TV and other downtime amenities.
The Tech Garden provides a full-time receptionist who supports our companies with visitor reception, facilities coordination and package receipt. Secretarial and administrative services can also be provided for an additional fee. Our goal is to provide a friendly, professional first impression for our residents’ guests.
The Tech Garden provides the standard office services entrepreneurs need to run their businesses but usually can’t afford on their own. Notably, we offer access to a high-speed, high-volume, networked color laser copier/fax/scanner/printer. Fees are based on usage. All residents receive a physical mail drop box with weekday USPS pick-up and delivery.
Residents at The Tech Garden enjoy gigabit LAN speeds via customized network services provided by our onsite IT service provider. Dependable Wi-Fi access is available throughout our campus to ensure that teams and their guests stay connected.
The Tech Garden is proud to provide space for regional artists to exhibit their collections. The corridor of our main building is lined with a rotating show of work from Central New York’s emerging artists.
The Tech Garden is a non-profit entity that is able to subsidize space costs for entrepreneurs. We normally charge $8 to $14 per square foot. This can vary depending on startup size, company stage, and type of space.
