5R is a company founded to meet the approaching industry need for the handling of used EV battery systems. From efficiencies in collection, transportation, handling and processing to innovative second life energy storage products, support of optimizing use of renewable energies and enabling the use of efficient & responsible recycling practices; 5R is to provide industry level solutions. Recover, Repurpose, Recycle, Reuse and Repeat. We’ve got this. Cocoon Construct offers an innovative and cost-effective integrated systems approach to building construction and major renovation that drives buildings toward net-zero energy consumption and can be delivered at scale. The company has the potential to drive industry transformation – initially for building retrofits and eventually for new construction. While the solution takes a unique approach to project delivery, the technologies and components comprising the solution are technically sound, commercially available and widely used in the building industry. The Retrofit Solution’s components include a high R-value prefabricated building envelope of expanded polystyrene finished with windows and doors preinstalled; integrated, modular HVAC components; renewable energy generation; and electrical/building monitoring upgrades– along with building O&M and performance guarantees for the lifetime of the retrofit. Density’s data analytics software, coupled with its anonymous people-counting hardware, allows customers to keep track of how many people are in a space in real time. This technology can be used to predict peak business hours, push notifications to clients when their favorite retail space is quiet and monitor secure areas. Ducted Wind Turbines (DWT) is a wind turbine company with a focus to provide the lowest cost per kWh in the small turbine market. DTI’s ducted wind turbine design produces more than 2X the energy of a conventional wind turbine of the same rotor diameter, which translates into a lower cost per kWh to the customer, and a reduction in the time for the return on your investment to half of what it takes for small wind turbines on the market today. Edison Innovative Power is a central New York tech startup in the field of precision high-voltage devices. Edison Innovative Power’s vision is empowering Scientists, Engineers, Manufacturers, and End Users with configurable, SMART, precision High Voltage solutions that enable them to advance the world’s technologies and products that top capital equipment makers & researchers utilize. Edison Innovative Power’s products are at the forefront of the $2B precision high voltage device industry. Our capabilities will reduce the time and cost to develop and introduce new products while also enhancing the performance, reliability, and uptime in markets such as Industrial, Semiconductors, Medical & Life Sciences, and Analytical Instruments. We are excited at helping to accelerate the global introduction of benefits in clean technology, health & wellness, and the environment. Farm to Flame Energy will manufacture biomass powered generators and grinders. These generators are smokeless, odorless, and able to operate with any given biomass feedstock. These generators will initially be exported to Africa because of the large market for microgrid systems. Initial connections have been made with customers, including a private utilities company in the Democratic Republic of Congo, as well as with the Liberian government. Hestia Technologies seeks to inform homeowners on the next best steps to reduce their heating costs and energy. The app delivers individualized reports by analyzing heat gains and losses including insulation and draftiness. It also allows users to see the heating bill savings due to suggested modifications. SparkCharge's Portable Fast Modular Charging Station allows you to charge your EV anytime and anywhere you want. Their station goes in your trunk, which means you will always have the range you need. Plus level 3 charge speed gets you charged fast so you can get to where you are going. The Standard Hydrogen Corporation (SHC) is an energy storage company building a network of Tri-Revenue™ onsite hydrogen generation stations to serve needs of the power and fuels markets. For power, SHC Stations provide grid-based electrical energy storage to utilities, renewable power producers, and commercial customers. For fuels, SHC Stations provide grid-balanced EV charging points and renewable hydrogen refueling for fuel cell vehicles, such as cars, forklifts, and airport logistic equipment. SHC is based in Ithaca, NY. Vistex Composites is an engineering services and manufacturing company, commercializing a revolutionary new manufacturing process for making products from advanced composite materials. Designed to be efficient, green, and low cost, Vistex's Pressure Focusing Layer - PFL™ - technology can produce autoclave quality (or better) components in a fraction of the time and at a fraction of the cost. Vistex’s process, through the use of the customized Pressure Focusing Layer™ (PFL™) achieves the uniform pressure and uniform temperature required to make a composite by a much more efficient approach as compared to autoclaving. A formed uncured composite is sandwiched between a temperature controlled rigid mold, the curing mold, the PFL™, and a rigid compression mold. The PFL™ thickness and geometry varies across the composite as determined using Vistex’s proprietary modeling and optimization. This variation ensures that when the mold set is in compression the composite undergoes uniform pressurization. The process is compatible with essentially any thermoset resin system on the market, or can process a range of thermoplastics. WexEnergy LLC develops affordable energy efficiency solutions so you can feel more comfortable at home while reducing your utility costs and carbon footprint.
