In addition, The Clean Tech Center works to connect clean tech companies with national and state resource providers for acceleration support of staged growth.

Clients are expected to cover a broad range of beneficiaries, from technologists interested in starting a company to profitable small and medium-sized enterprises in need of commercialization assistance to pursue new clean energy technology product development. Clients reside within physical incubator space at The Tech Garden and also virtually throughout Central New York. These entities are typically seeking access to unique technical and commercialization resources, such as those provided by The Tech Garden, Syracuse University, Syracuse Center of Excellence for Environmental and Energy Systems, and other research institutions in the Central New York region.

The Clean Tech Center also administers a NYSERDA-funded technical assistance grant program that may be available to qualified companies to help them access specialized testing or R&D support to advance through this dual track process and become “certified investment ready.”
