Tech Garden Company Signs MOU to Deploy Technology in Indian Market

08/26/2009

Syracuse, NY August 25, 2009 - Core technology developed by TCM Mobile, LLC (www.tcmmobile.com), a Syracuse Tech Garden (The Tech Garden) company, will play a major role in the upcoming launch of a $300m commercial cellular VoIP operating network in India to an initial 500,000 subscribers. This will be the world's first commercial network to utilize TCM's revolutionary, patented telecommunication technology. Downtown Syracuse has been the home of TCM's first fully-functional development network deployment since early this year.

TCM announced it has signed an MOU with Ganton Limited (ganton.in) to deploy in India and that the specific operating territory is currently being designed and will be announced in the coming weeks.

"The Indian Market offers an immense opportunity not only for generating revenue for our organization, but also offers significant value additions in terms of image enhancement of the existing service providers", said Sanjiv Kapoor, Ganton Chief Executive Officer.

TCM Mobile has developed a revolutionary, patented "cellular" technology which delivers all forms of mobile telecommunication services such as Voice, Data and Location-based Advertising ("Pop Up" format) and Pinpoint Location functionality via one mobile device.

Ganton Limited is a multinational technology company with offices in India, the United States, UK, Sweden, Switzerland, Romania and Hong Kong, having a networth in excess of US $500 million dollars. Ganton's Indian subsidiary is headed by Sanjiv Kapoor, Chief Executive Officer, who has been instrumental in launching various technology projects throughout India, and has worked with very large Indian and multinational corporations.

Paul Brooks, The Tech Garden vice president entrepreneurship programs said: " We are delighted with this business development for TCM Mobile. They have a very exciting technology platform and a very bright future. The revolutionary work that has been accomplished during their tenure at our facility is a testament to the dedicated staff and management."

Together, TCM and Ganton will soon establish the first ever cellular mobility VoIP network in India, and will contribute not only towards enhancing revenue for the overall Cellular industry, but also towards realizing India's revised subscriber target of 900 million by 2012, increasing the Indian consumer's confidence in its service providers along the way.
