The Arena Group, founded in 1951, was the first art group in Rochester to promote the work of contemporary artists.  The Arena Group has showcased the work of many of the regions most respected and accomplished artists.  The Arena Group is currently comprised of approximately sixty members. “Our mission is to present the public innovative, experimental and creative works of arts and to foster and encourage the creative talents within the membership causing public exhibitions for the display of these works.  Each member maintains a high standard of competence with their chosen medium.”
