Sam Erman

(July 2010 - Present)

Passionate about cutting carbon emissions while fostering economic growth, Sam worked closely with the CleanTech Center to write its blog, Green Innovations.  In addition, Sam conducted research for the Green Core Company Program, a green business certification program developed by Frank Cetera of the Small Business Development Center at Onondaga Community College.

In March 2011, Sam graduated from the University of Oregon with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and Business Administration.  Sam currently lives in Eugene, Oregon, where he continues to write Green Innovations.  In the coming months, Sam hopes to move to Portland to pursue a career in Environmental Sustainability.

 

Alex Ford

(June 2011 - August 2011)

Alex is currently studying Business at Marymount Manhattan College in New York City. He is the contributing writer for the Tech Innovation Website. When not working at the Syracuse Technology Garden, Alex enjoys croquet, reading the Bible, and collecting stamps.

 

Mike Lemp


(June 2010 - August 2010)

While interning at the Tech Garden, Mike spent some of his time assisting international business consultants. As a result of his background in German, he helped research German green energy companies in order to make the bringing together of German and American companies together easier. He also gathered information to create an easy-to-use guide for small businesses in the Syracuse area looking to expand their business internationally. In addition, Mike co-authored an article with a local businessman international relations expert to create a Doing Business in India article.  

Mike graduated from Binghamton University in May of 2011 and is spending the Summer in Syracuse before leaving for Germany for one year in September. He received a Fulbright Scholarship in April which will enable him to be an Assistant English Teacher at a German high school. Mike will be living and teaching in Wiesbaden, Germany and hopes to be able to travel around Europe on vacation days.
